Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, comprehensive, and effective Mathematics lessons to Senior Secondary School students in alignment with the Nigerian and West African educational curricula.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations, specifically WAEC, NECO, and other relevant assessments.
  • Design, administer, and evaluate formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to active learning and critical thinking.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, and behavioral development.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school-sponsored extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to enhance the overall mathematics curriculum and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) in Mathematics or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of active classroom teaching experience at the secondary school level.
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years successfully handling WAEC and NECO senior secondary classes will be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong command of modern, student-centered teaching methods and educational technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage students of diverse learning abilities.
