Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge International curriculum for secondary school students.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and positive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Assess, track, and record student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth and achievement.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and implement positive discipline strategies in accordance with school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve curriculum materials, lesson plans, and cross-curricular activities.
- Communicate professionally and regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance, behavior, and overall development.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, professional development workshops, and extracurricular activities.
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related relevant field (Master's degree or teaching certification is an added advantage).
- Demonstrated professional teaching experience, preferably within a Cambridge, British, or international school setting.
- Strong knowledge of secondary school mathematics concepts and modern pedagogical strategies.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in integrating educational technology into classroom teaching and learning.
