About the Role
Noble Guide Academy is a reputable faith-based co-educational institution with over 15 years of excellence in delivering quality education to Muslim children in Abuja. We offer comprehensive academic programmes from Preschool through to Secondary school and pride ourselves on cultivating a diverse, talented, and supportive community. We are currently looking for a dedicated and innovative Mathematics Teacher to join our vibrant primary school team and inspire the next generation of critical thinkers.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and practical Mathematics lessons tailored to young learners.
- Develop pupils' foundational numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills through interactive teaching methods.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual growth.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment that aligns with the school's core values.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and participate in school-wide academic and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain open and professional communication with parents regarding student performance and development.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) with a specialization in Mathematics, a B.Sc in Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- A Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) will be an added advantage for candidates with non-education degrees.
- At least 2 years of proven teaching experience in a recognized primary school setting.
- Prior experience teaching within a Cambridge Associate School curriculum is highly desirable.
- Strong digital literacy skills with the ability to integrate educational technology into daily classroom instruction.
