Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Mathematics lessons in accordance with the approved secondary school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely, constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined Christian learning environment utilizing effective classroom management strategies.
- Encourage active student participation, critical problem-solving, and analytical reasoning skills during math classes.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Mentor and guide students academically and morally, aligning with the core Christian values of Olive Grove College.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mathematics, Education, or a related field of study.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable teaching experience within a reputable secondary school setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum execution, and modern pedagogy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Strong classroom management capabilities and a proven record of maintaining student discipline.
