Telic International Academy is a reputable private early childhood and primary educational institution located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and learning foundations starting from infancy through elementary levels. We are currently seeking a passionate, creative, and hardworking Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators and inspire young learners to excel in mathematics.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive mathematics lessons tailored to primary school students.
- Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to improve academic performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to design and update the mathematics curriculum.
- Integrate modern ICT tools and creative teaching methods to make mathematics fun and relatable for young learners.
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Possession of a B.Ed, B.Sc, HND with PGDE or equivalent, or an NCE with a minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching experience.
- TRCN certification will be considered an added advantage.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong classroom management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in basic ICT skills and educational technology is an added advantage.
