We are currently seeking a passionate, dedicated, and dynamic History Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping young minds, fostering critical thinking, and serving as a shining moral example to our students in alignment with our core Christian values.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, well-structured History lessons that inspire learners and foster a deep appreciation for past events and their impact on the present.
- Utilize modern instructional technologies and learner-centred teaching methodologies to enhance student participation and comprehension.
- Design, administer, and evaluate comprehensive assessments to track student progress and academic growth.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to effective learning and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school management in planning extracurricular activities, historical projects, and curriculum improvements.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding student performance and behavioral development.
- A minimum of a First Degree or HND in History, Education (History), or a closely related field.
- At least three (3) years of relevant teaching experience in a recognized educational institution.
- In-depth knowledge of History curricula and the ability to effectively engage and inspire diverse learners.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and emotional intelligence skills.
- Proficiency in modern educational technologies and interactive teaching tools.
- Possession of a recognized teaching qualification and Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification will be an added advantage.
