Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive mathematics lessons tailored to primary school students.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Utilize diverse teaching aids and modern pedagogical methods to simplify complex mathematical concepts.
- Participate actively in school meetings, professional development workshops, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure the safety, pastoral care, and overall wellbeing of all pupils under your charge.
- Possession of an NCE, B.Sc, B.Ed, or M.Ed qualification in Mathematics or a related field of education.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching, mentoring, and caring for young children.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively.
- Proven classroom management skills with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Prior experience teaching primary school mathematics is an added advantage.
