About the Role
Preeminence International Montessori School, a premier child-centered educational institution located in Ugwugo-Nike, Enugu, Nigeria, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering standard early childhood and primary education, inspiring young learners to excel in mathematics while fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment. Please note that this position requires the candidate to reside within the school premises as an active member of our committed boarding and teaching community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality Mathematics lessons tailored to the learning pace and developmental stage of primary students.
- Create and maintain a stimulating, safe, and child-centered learning environment within the classroom.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and personalized support to ensure academic growth.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow educators and school management to execute academic and extracurricular programs.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and coordination skills during school activities, events, and daily routines.
- Proven experience in teaching mathematics or general education in a recognized primary or early childhood institution is a strong advantage.
- Certification or training as a Montessori educator will be considered a significant plus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and coordination abilities.
- Willingness and readiness to reside within the school premises in Ugwugo-Nike, Enugu.
