About the Role
Winners International Academy, a prestigious co-educational institution located in Agudama-Epie, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, is seeking a passionate and qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our esteemed secondary school faculty. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to secondary school students in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to improve academic performance.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and developmental milestones.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Instill high moral standards and act as a positive, God-fearing role model and mentor to all students.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Mathematics, Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng), or a related discipline.
- A Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), Master of Science (M.Sc), or Master of Engineering (M.Eng) will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 3 to 15 years of cognate teaching experience as a classroom Mathematics teacher in a reputable private secondary school.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated high moral standards, passion for teaching, innovation, and a goal-oriented mindset.
