Key Responsibilities- Master prescribed books and supplementary resources to design engaging lesson plans and comprehensive curricula.
- Collaborate closely with English department colleagues to innovate teaching strategies and student interventions.
- Prepare students thoroughly for both formal and informal academic assessments.
- Grade assignments, quizzes, and exams meticulously while maintaining open communication with parents, students, and counselors regarding student progress.
- Coordinate enriching extracurricular activities, including literary events, guest speaker sessions, and educational field trips.
- Bachelor's degree in English or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in classroom management and institutional procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of advanced English topics and international curricula such as Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels.
- Proficiency in modern educational technology and computer applications.
- Familiarity with contemporary 21st-century teaching methodologies and English instruction trends.
- Possession of a Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification will be an added advantage.
