Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with both British (IGCSE) and Nigerian (WAEC/JAMB) curricula.
- Prepare students effectively for national and international examinations, ensuring high academic standards and excellent pass rates.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love for STEM subjects.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to address individual learning needs.
- Participate actively in school-wide STEM initiatives, extracurricular math clubs, and preparations for regional and global mathematics competitions.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, school leadership, and parents to support holistic student development.
- Possession of a relevant Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Proven professional teaching experience within a reputable secondary school setting, preferably with exposure to Cambridge IGCSE curricula.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
