Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Mathematics and Further Mathematics lessons in accordance with the Nigerian National Policy on Education and school standards.
- Cover the approved scheme of work efficiently while ensuring students grasp practical, everyday applications of mathematical concepts.
- Assess, evaluate, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous academic improvement.
- Serve as a positive moral and academic role model, mentoring students within our structured boarding school environment.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, co-curricular activities, and professional development programs.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc, B.Tech, or B.A in Mathematics or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Possession of a higher degree or professional teaching certification will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable teaching experience in Mathematics and Further Mathematics within a reputable secondary school.
- Exceptional command of the English language with outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and office suites, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of adolescent psychology and the ability to manage a disciplined classroom environment effectively.
