About the Role

Located inside a serene estate in Akobo, Ibadan, Oyo State, our co-educational Christian school caters to boys and girls from diverse backgrounds. We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Mathematics / Checkpoint Mathematics / IGCSE Maths Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school faculty and deliver exceptional learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with the Nigerian curriculum, Cambridge Checkpoint, and IGCSE standards.
- Plan, prepare, and execute well-structured daily lessons and instructional activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely, constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Create a stimulating, orderly, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities.
- Uphold the moral and spiritual values of the institution while mentoring students toward holistic development.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience teaching Mathematics up to the IGCSE level in a reputable school.
- In-depth knowledge of the Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE Mathematics curricula.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
