Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Government and Civic Education lessons aligned with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Foster critical thinking regarding political systems, governance, and civic duties among secondary school students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning and moral development.
- Participate in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Counsel and mentor students to uphold the core Christian values and standards of Cedarville School.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc in Political Science, or a related field with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience handling Government and Civic Education at the secondary school level.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
