About the Role
Ringo Telecoms Limited, an established indigenous leader in the Nigerian telecommunications sector since 2004, is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Power Electronics Service & Repair Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our operational efficiency by diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of critical power electronics infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced PCB troubleshooting and precise component-level repairs.
- Read and interpret complex circuit diagrams and electronic schematics accurately.
- Repair and service core electronic components including IGBTs, MOSFETs, diodes, capacitors, relays, ICs, rectifiers, SMPS, inverters, and charger circuits.
- Utilize professional diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, LCR meters, and soldering or rework stations.
- Conduct thorough root-cause analysis for equipment faults, execute effective repairs, and perform rigorous pre-testing before deployment.
- Service and maintain specialized power infrastructure including UPS, AVR, inverters, solar power systems, and industrial power electronics.
- OND, HND, or B.Sc. degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated hands-on professional experience in electronics maintenance and PCB repair.
- Familiarity with UPS, AVR, solar systems, and industrial power electronics equipment.
- Willingness to participate in and successfully pass a practical technical assessment during the shortlisting process.
