About the Role
CWG (Co-Workers Group) Engineering Limited is a wholly employee-owned engineering consulting practice specializing in 3D laser scanning, engineering design, manpower supply, and project management across Nigeria. We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Mason to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in executing precise masonry work for various engineering and building projects, ensuring our high standards of quality, safety, and durability are consistently met. Key Responsibilities- Perform skilled masonry work including bricklaying, concrete pouring, stone setting, and plastering on various construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to determine project specifications and layouts.
- Mix mortar, plaster, and concrete manually or using machines to the correct consistency for application.
- Build structures such as walls, partitions, foundations, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and stones.
- Repair and maintain existing masonry structures, patching up damaged areas and restoring surfaces.
- Ensure all construction and masonry activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and project guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, site engineers, and other construction crew members to ensure timely project delivery.
- Proven practical construction experience with a strong focus on professional masonry and building activities.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and architectural plans.
- Proficiency in using various masonry tools, equipment, and safety gear effectively.
- Strong physical stamina, dexterity, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-standard craftsmanship and safety practices.
