About the Role
Citizen's Voice 97.1 FM is a newly established community and commercial radio station broadcasting from Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Operating under the slogan 'SPEAK UP — because every voice matters!', we serve as a premier platform for news, entertainment, music, and public discourse. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketer to drive revenue growth, secure advertising contracts, attract sponsorships, and promote our station's programmes and brand to prospective clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and secure advertising clients, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase station revenue and market share.
- Prepare proposals, pitch advertising packages, and negotiate commercial deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and corporate clients.
- Promote station programmes, events, and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Meet assigned sales targets and submit regular performance reports.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 6 to 10 years of proven experience in marketing, media sales, or business development, preferably within the broadcasting industry.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding revenue and sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, sales, networking, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
