About the Role
Terra Energy Services Nigeria Ltd (TES) is a leading indigenous engineering and oil and gas service company providing integrated solutions across the energy value chain. We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Marine Technician to join our dynamic team in Lagos and Port-Harcourt. In this critical role, you will ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of marine mechanical systems, hydraulic equipment, and deck machinery in demanding offshore environments.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot marine equipment, mechanical systems, and hydraulic equipment.
- Support the operation and maintenance of winches, capstans, mooring systems, pumps, and marine auxiliaries.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment testing, lubrication, alignment, and component replacement.
- Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) protocols, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in emergency drills, maintain technical documentation, and escalate equipment defects promptly.
- HND or Technical Diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry with upstream E&P exposure.
- Proven hands-on expertise in offshore or marine operating environments.
- Valid STCW, offshore safety, and relevant technical trade certifications.
