About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a prominent leader in the Nigerian manufacturing and consumer goods sector, is seeking a driven and analytical Manufacturing Excellence Officer for our Golden Pasta plant in Iganmu, Lagos. In this vital role, you will champion operational efficiency, spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, and empower plant teams to achieve world-class manufacturing standards through the application of lean methodologies and waste reduction strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate and train plant teams on continuous improvement tools, lean methodologies, waste elimination, value stream mapping, and loss cost management.
- Drive targeted improvement projects focused on operational efficiency, productivity enhancement, and overall cost reduction.
- Coordinate waste reduction initiatives and facilitate structured performance review sessions to ensure the delivery of targeted savings.
- Support the deployment and continuous improvement of Maintenance and Reliability Systems through targeted coaching and structured maintenance planning.
- Develop, standardize, and manage Manufacturing Excellence KPI reporting frameworks across business units to track progress and identify growth opportunities.
- HND or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in Manufacturing Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Operations Excellence, or Industrial Engineering within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Mandatory certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence.
- Proven expertise deploying Lean Manufacturing, TPM, OEE, 5S, and Visual Management methodologies.
- Possession of a Project Management certification is an added advantage.
