About the Role

Food Health Systems Advisory (FHSA) is a premier management consulting and business advisory firm dedicated to transforming food systems, nutrition, agriculture, health, and climate sectors. We partner with philanthropic foundations, international donors, governments, and corporations to deliver high-impact advisory and technical services. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Manager, Strategic Growth & New Initiatives to spearhead our revenue generation, forge strategic partnerships, and scale innovative service lines across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue-generating efforts by identifying, initiating, and advancing growth opportunities with Tier 2 and Tier 3 clients, including donors, philanthropies, and strategic corporates.
  • Lead end-to-end proposal development, deal structuring, and high-value contract negotiations in close collaboration with the CEO and technical teams.
  • Manage and accelerate a live opportunity pipeline, utilizing structured Go/No-Go frameworks to track conversion timelines.
  • Lead the market introduction and scaling of FHSA’s digital products and new service lines from concept through early validation.
  • Build and cultivate high-level B2B partnerships, positioning FHSA as a preferred partner in multi-stakeholder consortium bids.
  • Provide operational oversight to internal business development, marketing, and communications teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and aligned execution.
  • Conduct continuous market intelligence scanning to identify emerging funding trends and strategic business opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, International Development, or a related field; a Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
  • 7 to 10 years of proven experience in business development, management consulting, fundraising, or strategic partnerships within Africa.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing high-value deals and actively managing extensive client portfolios in the development or corporate sector.
  • Strong, established networks across international donors, philanthropic foundations, and private sector agriculture or health stakeholders.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with prior experience managing cross-functional teams and mentoring business associates.
  • Superior strategic thinking, negotiation, and written communication abilities tailored for a target-driven environment.
