About the Role
Beacon Power Services has been at the forefront of developing energy management software and providing energy analytics in Nigeria since 2010. We are looking for a Manager – Quality Assurance with a proactive, problem-solving mindset to lead and elevate quality practices across our entire software delivery lifecycle. In this role, you will own product quality end-to-end, ensuring every release meets the highest standards for reliability, performance, and user experience while championing a shift-left testing culture.
Key Responsibilities- Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies, standards, and testing frameworks including UI, API, and performance testing.
- Integrate advanced testing protocols into CI/CD pipelines and define robust release quality gates.
- Lead end-to-end testing across functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing phases.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing QA team by setting clear goals, KPIs, and accountability standards.
- Partner closely with Software Engineering, Product Management, and DevOps to triage issues and drive root-cause analysis.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance across the SDLC within fast-paced Agile environments.
- Strong expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or REST Assured.
- Proficiency in API testing, performance tools like JMeter or k6, and SQL for database validation.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams, resource allocation, and stakeholder communications.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and energy sector technologies is considered a strong plus.
