About the Role
Aero Alliance Limited is transforming Akanu Ibiam International Airport (AIIA) in Enugu into a modern, efficient, and professionally operated international gateway. We are seeking an experienced, commercially astute, and ethically grounded Manager, Procurement to establish and lead a transparent, competitive, efficient, and risk-controlled procurement function. You will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle while ensuring value for money without compromising aviation safety, security, quality, operational continuity, or governance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the Airport's Procurement Strategy, annual Procurement Plan, and category-management framework.
- Lead competitive sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and procurement governance.
- Manage procurement for airport operations, engineering and infrastructure, ICT, safety, security, commercial services, and capital projects.
- Establish robust supplier prequalification, due diligence, performance management, and risk-rating processes.
- Drive value-for-money, cost optimisation, lifecycle costing, and resilient supply-chain solutions.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Engineering, Operations, Safety, Security, and Internal Audit to maintain strong controls.
- Lead procurement digitalisation, analytics, reporting, and performance dashboards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, MBA, or Engineering Management is desirable.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, PMP, or relevant aviation procurement credentials are highly advantageous.
- 8 to 12 years of progressive procurement and supply-chain experience, with at least 4 to 5 years in a management role.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, complex negotiations, contract management, and supplier risk management.
