About the Role
Doheney Services Ltd, a premier Human Resource Consulting firm established in November 2004, is recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Manager, Major Projects for our client in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned project management professional equipped with exceptional commercial acumen, extensive experience in tendering and bid management, and deep industry expertise within the Oil & Gas or EPC sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end tendering and bid management processes for major high-value projects within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Develop and execute robust commercial strategies, driving contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and mitigate business risks.
- Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical and contractual oversight for oilfield products, specifications, and complex project execution cycles.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client expectations across all assigned major projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC/EPCI) teams to deliver optimal project outcomes on time and within budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of directly relevant experience in major projects management.
- Proven track record in tendering and bid management specifically within the Oil & Gas or oilfield services industry.
- Demonstrated strength in commercial, technical, contractual, and risk management capabilities.
- Strong background in EPC/EPCI or engineering environments is highly preferred.
