About the Role
Evidence Action scales evidence-based programs to improve millions of lives across the globe. We are currently looking for a dynamic Manager, Field Operations, Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) for our West and Central Africa sub-region, covering Nigeria, Liberia, and Cameroon. This one-year contract position involves overseeing program research, coordinating MLE support, leading monitoring plans, and ensuring high data quality standards across all regional interventions.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will lead planning, coordination, and execution of monitoring and evaluation activities to ensure they meet program goals cost-effectively.
- Design and streamline comprehensive MLE activities, managing budgets, timelines, and strategic vendor partnerships.
- Lead quantitative and qualitative data collection objectives, maintaining robust databases and electronic platforms like SurveyCTO and DHIS2.
- Manage country MLE teams, coordinating recruitment, onboarding, performance tracking, and targeted professional development.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders, program teams, and global offices to translate data insights into actionable programmatic improvements.
We are looking for an experienced monitoring and evaluation professional with a deep commitment to our mission.
- Master's Degree in Public Health, Development Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of M&E experience in West and Central Africa, with at least 4 years managing large data collection teams.
- Bilingual proficiency in spoken and written French and English is a strict requirement.
- Demonstrated expertise using electronic data collection tools such as SurveyCTO.
- Legal authorization to work in Nigeria or Cameroon without visa sponsorship.
