With a rich history dating back to 1979, we specialize in urban planning, architecture, engineering, and oil and gas facilities, consistently delivering excellence across public and private sector projects. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our growth initiatives, cultivate high-value client relationships, and lead the coordination of complex bids and proposals to enhance our market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, secure, and develop new business opportunities to expand our market presence in architecture, engineering, and the oil and gas sector.
  • Build and maintain robust, long-term relationships with existing and prospective high-level clients.
  • Oversee the end-to-end preparation and submission of RFPs, EOIs, competitive tenders, and complex contracts.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and project teams to ensure alignment between client requirements and proposal delivery.
  • Support strategic contract negotiations, execution processes, and license renewals while ensuring financial terms and outstanding payments are successfully managed.
  • Provide inspirational interim leadership, guidance, and support to the business development team to achieve performance targets.
  • Prepare and present detailed, timely reports on business development activities, market research, and proposal outcomes directly to the Managing Director.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; a relevant master's degree or professional certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of proven business development and tender management experience within the engineering consultancy, construction, or oil and gas industry in Nigeria.
  • Demonstrated success in leading proposal development, winning competitive public and private sector tenders, and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional negotiation, strategic planning, and cross-functional team leadership skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with a strong network of industry contacts.
