We are seeking a dedicated Management & General Ledger Accountant to join our dynamic Finance & Accounts team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Manage month-end accounting activities, including ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, management accounts, and statements for review.
- Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues, and report budget variances to Management.
- Supervise the bank reconciliation process and ensure prompt resolution of discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate posting and maintenance of transactions within company ERP systems.
- Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation.
- Review existing accounting procedures and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance, supervision, and support to members of the Accounts team.
- Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Mandatory ACA or ACCA professional qualification.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP accounting software.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and management accounts.
