About the Role
WTS Energy, the leading manpower supply and consulting company to the global oil, gas, and energy industry, is seeking a talented Risk & Internal Control Manager to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this critical role, you will champion robust governance frameworks and drive operational excellence across our dynamic project environments, ensuring the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead comprehensive group-level risk assessment and corporate governance activities.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve internal control frameworks covering critical operational, procurement, and inventory processes.
- Evaluate existing controls within project-based environments and recommend practical, value-adding improvements.
- Apply rigorous risk management and internal audit practices to support organization-wide compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Active professional membership such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or CRMA.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of relevant professional experience in risk management, internal controls, internal audit, or compliance.
- Demonstrated expertise in operational controls, procurement controls, inventory management, and project-based environments.
- Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
- Prior industry experience in oil and gas servicing, EPC, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial services.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems including SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Must be currently based in Nigeria.
