As we continue to expand our operations across major Nigerian cities, we are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos and support strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate, high-quality, and timely management accounts and comprehensive financial reports.
- Analyse financial performance, operational budgets, and variance trends to identify areas for business improvement.
- Support the annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, and strategic financial planning processes.
- Provide executive management with actionable financial insights to drive profitable business decisions.
- Monitor operational expenses closely and implement effective cost-control strategies across departments.
- Maintain immaculate financial records and ensure strict compliance with internal accounting policies and statutory regulations.
- Lead month-end and year-end financial closing activities efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate seamless audit processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business discipline.
- Active membership or in-progress professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or financial reporting.
- Demonstrated expertise in accounting standards, budgetary control, and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern enterprise resource planning (ERP) accounting software.
- Exceptional analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities with unwavering integrity and attention to detail.
- Prior experience working within any of the Big Four audit firms will be considered a distinct advantage.
