About the Role
Ethnos Cyber Limited is the preferred cybersecurity solutions provider in Africa, dedicated to protecting our customers' data assets and aligning IT with business objectives. We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Managed Security Services (MSS) Cybersecurity Analyst to join our expanding team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding client networks, investigating security threats, and ensuring the highest standards of digital defense.
Key Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive penetration tests across Web applications, APIs, Mobile platforms, Network infrastructure, and Cloud environments.
- Identify and exploit OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, business logic flaws, and cloud IAM permission gaps.
- Assist the Security Operations Center with real-time threat monitoring, alert analysis, and SIEM rule tuning.
- Conduct digital forensic investigations into security incidents to establish root cause and attack timelines.
- Collaborate with developers and system administrators to validate patches and ensure effective vulnerability remediation.
- Produce detailed technical reports featuring proof-of-concept exploits and actionable remediation steps.
- Bachelor degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, security monitoring, incident response, or VAPT.
- Strong working knowledge of security testing methodologies, SIEM tools, and incident management processes.
- Solid understanding of network security, endpoint security, and common cyberattack vectors.
