About the Role
Recare, a leading personal style and cosmetics company renowned for brands like Natures Gentle Touch, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. Founded in 1997, we leverage plant-based chemistry to deliver exceptional hair care, skincare, and personal care solutions across Africa. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our manufacturing facilities and equipment operate at peak efficiency, directly supporting our mission to help Africans live beautifully through quality production.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule, coordinate, and oversee all routine and emergency maintenance-related work across the facility.
- Conduct regular, thorough inspections of plant facilities and production equipment to proactively detect and resolve potential problems.
- Plan and manage comprehensive repair, replacement, and installation activities to minimize operational downtime.
- Document all maintenance activities, preparing accurate daily progress reports and detailed maintenance logs.
- Monitor the electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems of facility equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 4 to 7 years of hands-on maintenance experience within the fast-paced manufacturing industry.
- Possession of relevant technical training certifications.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office software for reporting and documentation.
