About the Role
Smart Class Hotel & Suite, in partnership with Wertvoll Consulting Services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our hospitality team in Aji–Enugu Ezike, Enugu State. In this role, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of facility upkeep, ensuring all hotel infrastructure, equipment, and guest rooms operate flawlessly to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities, guest rooms, and public areas to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls from guests and hotel staff.
- Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment, laundry machines, and lighting fixtures efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance work, repairs, and scheduled inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building regulations across the property.
- Relevant technical certification, trade test, or equivalent educational background in facility maintenance or engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience as a maintenance technician, preferably within the hospitality or hotel sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Good communication skills and a professional, customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to urgent maintenance situations.
