We are currently looking for a dedicated and proactive Electrical Technician to join our growing facilities team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out electrical installations, repairs, and comprehensive maintenance across assigned facilities.
- Inspect electrical systems, wiring, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, and related equipment regularly.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults, wiring issues, and other technical problems efficiently.
- Perform preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment breakdowns and service interruptions.
- Install, repair, and replace electrical components, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, and related fittings.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve electrical faults within agreed turnaround times.
- Ensure all electrical work strictly complies with national safety standards and company operating procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of completed jobs, repairs, materials used, and outstanding issues.
- Use tools, equipment, and materials responsibly while ensuring they are properly maintained and stored.
- Liaise with the Facilities and Operations teams, reporting major faults that require external intervention.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment after completing all maintenance activities.
- Minimum of OND or Trade Test Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven professional experience as an Electrical Technician in facilities management or a similar sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance protocols.
- Excellent understanding of safety standards and regulations regarding electrical installations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
