About the Role
NutriK FZE, a proud subsidiary of the globally recognized Nutriset Group, plays a vital role in producing and distributing high-quality ready-to-use foods that support the treatment and prevention of malnutrition across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of our production equipment through effective preventive and corrective maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Execute daily preventive maintenance (PM) activities according to the approved PM schedule and standard work procedures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical faults to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections of production and utility equipment to identify early signs of wear, malfunction, or potential failure.
- Actively support Lean manufacturing initiatives aimed at eliminating waste and reducing non-value-added activities within the maintenance function.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, work orders, and spare parts stock levels.
- Communicate equipment issues, job progress, and critical spare parts needs clearly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance (Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent).
- Previous practical experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance principles, basic electrical/mechanical systems, and safety standards.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement processes.
- Proficiency in computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and use maintenance tools correctly.
