About the Role

We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Maintenance Systems Specialist I to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our maintenance, materials management, procurement coordination, and contract administration activities. You will ensure that all equipment, spare parts, and maintenance services strictly align with operational, safety, and regulatory requirements, driving our mission to deliver sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support reliable operations in full compliance with applicable laws, industry regulations, and Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) standards.
  • Maintain effective communication channels and operational interfaces between Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, and Procurement teams.
  • Provide guidance to Field Maintenance Unit personnel regarding procurement processes and inventory workflows.
  • Maintain central contract files and actively support comprehensive contract administration activities.
  • Liaise between Field Units and the Procurement department to guarantee the timely availability of contractors, essential goods, and vital services.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to facilitate contract renewals, awards, dispute resolutions, and necessary follow-up actions.
  • Assist in developing accurate contract scopes based on operational and maintenance requirements.
  • Support the technical pre-qualification and rigorous assessment of new contractors and service providers.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to accurately enter, maintain, and extract data supporting site maintenance activities.
  • Manage material orders, replacement parts, inventory records, transaction processing, and invoice coordination.
Qualifications
  • Previous professional experience in a closely related maintenance, supply chain, or administrative position within the energy or industrial sector.
  • Relevant discipline-specific certification(s) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Solid understanding of Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) requirements within operational and maintenance environments.
  • Working knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and management principles.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate field conditions and recommend actionable remediation steps.
  • High adaptability to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequently changing operational priorities.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
