About the Role
Rotic Aluminium Extrusion is a steadily growing manufacturing leader based in Anambra, dedicated to delivering the highest standard of precision aluminium extrusion profiles across Africa. Established in 2023, we combine expert craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques to build a world-class production ecosystem. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to oversee daily shopfloor operations and drive optimal manufacturing efficiency in our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and direct daily production operations seamlessly across multiple shifts.
- Apply Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and lean manufacturing practices to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
- Ensure production targets are consistently achieved while controlling waste and reducing unit costs.
- Manage shift schedules, workforce allocation, and overall production line productivity.
- Uphold strict compliance with safety, quality, and maintenance standards on the shop floor.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance, quality assurance, logistics, and planning departments.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and enforce strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to operators to enhance skills, performance, and accountability.
- Maintain precise production records, prepare detailed reports, and update performance dashboards.
- Track raw material consumption and support accurate inventory and stock management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in production supervision or plant operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated track record in output optimization, cost savings, and process efficiency.
- Hands-on expertise with TPM, 5S, and other essential lean manufacturing tools.
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Proficiency in analyzing production data to make swift, actionable operational decisions.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with Odoo experience considered a strong advantage.
- Willingness to live on-site in Awka, Anambra State is strongly preferred.
