About the Role
Coca-Cola is the most popular and biggest-selling soft drink in history, operating a refreshing and dynamic presence in Nigeria since 1951. We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Planner to join our plant in Benin. In this crucial role, you will ensure our production and utility assets operate at peak performance by expertly planning, scheduling, and coordinating all maintenance activities. You will act as the vital link between maintenance, engineering, production, and supply chain teams to guarantee that the right personnel, spare parts, and tools are readily available, thereby driving operational excellence across our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to minimize unexpected production downtime.
- Manage maintenance work orders and equipment master data efficiently utilizing SAP PM or other CMMS platforms.
- Coordinate seamlessly with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to align maintenance schedules with operational targets.
- Ensure all required spare parts, special tools, manpower, and external resources are fully available prior to executing scheduled tasks.
- Monitor and report on critical maintenance KPIs, including equipment downtime, MTBF, MTTR, schedule compliance, and overall maintenance costs.
- Maintain comprehensive equipment records, bills of materials (BOMs), and essential technical documentation.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance asset reliability, maintenance workflows, and overall resource utilization.
- Ensure all maintenance operations strictly comply with corporate safety, quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and environmental regulations.
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven engineering experience within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or related manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in maintenance planning, scheduling, and resource allocation within an industrial setting.
- Hands-on, practical experience working with SAP PM or another Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Solid technical understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
