About the Role
Rovedana is hiring a dedicated Mobile Gas Filling Operator to join our dynamic team in Oyingbo, Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient filling and distribution of LPG cylinders while upholding the highest standards of workplace safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Perform manual or semi-automatic filling of LPG cylinders while monitoring processes to prevent overfilling.
- Accompany sales drivers to customer locations for secure and efficient product delivery.
- Ensure all filled cylinders are thoroughly checked, leak-free, and safe for dispatch.
- Operate filling machines and weighing equipment correctly while maintaining daily log sheets and accurate filling records.
- Assist in routine maintenance and cleaning of filling heads, nozzles, and tools.
- Calibrate weighing scales as instructed and immediately report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the supervisor.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification.
- Proven previous experience working as a Gas Filling Operator.
- Basic understanding of gas plant operations and the ability to accurately read weighing scales.
- Physically fit with the stamina to handle manual work and heavy lifting.
- Good record-keeping abilities and familiarity with POS operations.
- High levels of integrity, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
