About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Specialist - Cementing to join our dynamic operations team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will ensure the seamless execution of cementing packages, maintain equipment readiness, and provide vital leadership to field crews while strictly adhering to our industry-leading Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and manage cementing packages for operational readiness, collaborating closely with service delivery coordinators and engineering teams.
- Provide robust leadership and mentorship to field crews, ensuring team competencies, proper equipment calibration, and adherence to approved cementing programs.
- Drive strict compliance with HSE standards by implementing Safety to Perform (STP) programs, conducting task risk assessments, and reporting operational deviations.
- Oversee pre- and post-job documentation, accurate job ticket processing for invoicing, and the timely reporting of equipment deficiencies or maintenance needs.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert to safely operate service units and associated equipment during critical onshore and offshore operations.
- Minimum of a Two-Year Technical Degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least 5 years of hands-on onshore or offshore oilfield service experience specializing in pressure pumping and cementing operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in safely running, maintaining, and troubleshooting cementing units and associated oilfield equipment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the oil and gas industry, combined with exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
