About the Role
Viju Industries Nigeria Limited, a leading name in the fast-moving consumer goods and beverage production sector in Nigeria, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all mechanical production equipment, ensuring the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of our high-volume manufacturing lines.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and execute the routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical equipment across the production facility.
- Ensure the safe and stable operation of critical beverage waterline machines, including filling, blowing, labelling, and packaging equipment.
- Conduct thorough and independent equipment inspections to proactively identify potential technical faults and minimize downtime.
- Perform timely parts replacement and coordinate corrective actions in alignment with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory to optimize operational efficiency.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on mechanical maintenance experience within a manufacturing or beverage production environment.
- Proven technical expertise and practical experience working with waterline machines such as filling, blowing, labelling, and packaging equipment.
- Ability to independently carry out complex equipment diagnostics, troubleshooting, and precision repairs.
- Deep familiarity with mechanical structures, industrial safety protocols, and related manufacturing standards.
