About the Role
Dony Triump Nig. Ltd., a leading Nigerian manufacturing and distribution company located in Onitsha, South-East Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer. In this role, you will oversee electrical and mechanical systems across our pharmaceutical production and ancillary business units, ensuring seamless plant operations, safety compliance, and maximum equipment uptime.
Key Responsibilities- Execute effective preventive and corrective maintenance, breakdown repairs, and equipment installations.
- Collaborate with the Production Department to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
- Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), QA standards, and safety protocols.
- Manage engineering spare parts inventory in coordination with the Warehouse and Procurement teams.
- Supervise technicians, artisans, and external contractors during repairs and installation projects.
- Promptly escalate critical equipment failures, utility issues, or safety concerns to plant management.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceuticals or FMCG.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, industrial utilities, and GMP standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and team supervision skills.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Onitsha, Anambra State.
