About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Instrument and Electrical Technician III to join our dynamic operations. In this vital role, you will ensure the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of complex electrical and instrumentation systems while mentoring junior technical personnel in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and oversee electrical and control activities in strict compliance with applicable standards, procedures, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
- Provide expert technical support for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Review electrical and control specifications, work practices, and ongoing maintenance activities to drive operational excellence.
- Ensure the high-quality and timely completion of all scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance work.
- Support work prioritization and coordinate seamlessly with Operations, Engineering, and Projects teams.
- Guide technicians on current industry codes, standards, procedures, and emerging technologies.
- Raise and manage Management of Change (MOC) requests for electrical and control systems efficiently.
- Monitor and inspect new installations while recommending necessary technical upgrades.
- Support the continuous training and professional development of electrical and instrumentation personnel.
- Act as a reliable stand-in for the Instrument and Electrical Lead when required.
- Associate degree or equivalent technical qualification complemented by relevant industry certifications.
- Proven hands-on experience maintaining electrical, instrumentation, and control systems within a processing plant or offshore production facility.
- Working knowledge of Oil and Gas regulations, OIMS, Permit to Work (PTW) systems, and stringent safety procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, organization, and technical reporting skills.
