About the Role
Scruples Resources, a leading provider of consultancy, resource development, and human resource solutions across all sectors of the Nigerian economy, is seeking a skilled Well Intervention Specialist. In this critical role, you will drive operational excellence by planning, executing, and optimizing well intervention activities to ensure maximum well productivity and integrity across our clients' assets in the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and review well intervention activities while providing innovative solutions for complex well integrity issues.
- Support routine well intervention, well diagnostics, and downhole remediation operations to maintain optimal field performance.
- Develop detailed operational procedures for safe and efficient intervention activities.
- Evaluate and trial new well completion and intervention technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Drilling and Frac Service teams on wellhead transitions, barriers, and fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Monitor well and field completion performance and integrity using industry-recognized software.
- Ensure strict compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and well barrier requirements.
- Support the safe and efficient execution of wireline, slickline, coiled tubing, and other specialized intervention operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in rigless well intervention operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in wireline, slickline, and coiled tubing design, planning, and execution.
- Direct experience with sour gas, unconventional, HPHT, tight gas, or tight oil wells is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in completion design, tubing movement, hydraulic fracturing, and flowback operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of wellhead and downhole completion design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
