About the Role
Vantegral Consulting is seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, availability, and safe operation of critical equipment and facilities. You will drive operational excellence by planning maintenance activities, troubleshooting complex faults, and implementing proactive strategies to reduce downtime while ensuring strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Diagnose equipment faults rapidly to minimize operational downtime and production delays.
- Monitor ongoing equipment performance and adhere strictly to maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians and external contractors.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date maintenance logs, records, and reports.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations and industry maintenance standards.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
- B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3 to 7 years of hands-on maintenance engineering experience within an industrial setting.
- Demonstrated experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, or similar heavy industry environments.
- Strong technical aptitude in equipment troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving.
- Deep working knowledge of preventive maintenance methodologies and equipment reliability frameworks.
- Solid understanding of HSE standards, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical reporting skills.
