About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the cashew processing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of all electrical systems and equipment to ensure maximum plant availability, operational efficiency, and safety compliance across our facilities in Ibafo, Ogun State, and Ibadan, Oyo State.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant electrical equipment, motors, switchgear, VFDs, and processing machinery.
- Monitor and maintain HT/LT power distribution systems, diesel generators, transformers, and plant utility infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot industrial automation systems, PLCs, sensors, and control panels to minimize operational downtime.
- Execute electrical improvement projects, read and update technical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, and manage critical spare parts inventory.
- Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies, electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance, with at least 2 years specifically in the cashew processing industry.
- Strong technical expertise in power distribution, MCC/PCC systems, VFDs, industrial motors, and PLC automation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Maximum age limit of 40 years with exceptional problem-solving and emergency-response skills.
