About the Role
NutriK FZE, a proud subsidiary of the globally recognized Nutriset Group, plays a vital role in producing and distributing high-quality ready-to-use foods that support the treatment and prevention of malnutrition across Nigeria. To strengthen our growing operations in Kano, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic Production Department and contribute to our life-saving mission.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to monitor equipment condition and prevent unplanned downtime.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults promptly.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery, proposing modifications to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure all maintenance activities strictly comply with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and safety rules.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, equipment history, technical reports, and spare parts usage records.
- Coordinate maintenance work seamlessly with production and guide technicians during service activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in industrial maintenance principles, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and diagnostic instruments.
- Computer literacy including MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.
