About the Role
Reliable Steel & Plastic Ind. Ltd., a trusted leader in plastics manufacturing since 1998, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer - Blow Extruder to join our dynamic production facility. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of our plastic blow extrusion machinery to drive production efficiency and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic blow extrusion machines with capacities ranging from 5 to 200 liters and above.
- Manage machine programming, parameter setting, PLC/HMI systems, and associated control systems for extrusion blow molding.
- Maintain and troubleshoot complex hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems including extruder barrels, screws, gearboxes, die heads, and heaters.
- Oversee parison programming, mould clamping systems, blow pins, and cutting systems while reading and interpreting technical diagrams.
- Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance programs, conduct root-cause analysis, and actively reduce machine downtime.
- Collaborate closely with Production and Quality Control teams to diagnose production issues and provide technical guidance to machine operators and technicians.
- Manage spare parts inventory, document maintenance activities, and oversee routine servicing schedules.
- Minimum of 4 years of dedicated, practical maintenance experience specifically with plastic blow extrusion machines (candidates with only film extrusion or general factory experience will not be considered).
- OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong working knowledge of thermoplastics such as HDPE, LDPE, and PP.
- Proven ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
