About the Role
Word of Faith Group of Schools, the flagship of Christian Education in Africa, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Officer (Electrical) to join our vibrant community. In this vital role, you will ensure the seamless operation of all electrical infrastructure across our campus, providing a safe and conducive learning environment for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on all campus electrical systems, fixtures, and appliances.
- Diagnose electrical faults, troubleshoot wiring issues, and execute prompt repairs to minimize downtime.
- Install new electrical systems, lighting, power outlets, and equipment in compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of electrical tools, spare parts, and replacement components.
- Respond swiftly to emergency electrical repair requests during school hours and events.
- Collaborate with the broader facilities management team on school expansion and renovation projects.
- Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Trade Test Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in general electrical maintenance, preferably within an educational or large facility setting.
- Deep understanding of Nigerian electrical codes, safety regulations, and wiring standards.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
