About the Role
Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is currently hiring a skilled and technically competent Machine Operator to join our manufacturing sector client in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring nylon processing machinery to ensure seamless production cycles, superior product quality, and strict adherence to workplace safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor nylon and polythene processing and production machines according to standard operating procedures.
- Set up machinery and precisely adjust operating parameters to match exact production specifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production logs, recording output levels, machine downtime, and material usage.
- Minimize material wastage proactively and continuously optimize machine efficiency to boost productivity.
- Follow established production schedules diligently to consistently meet daily and weekly output targets.
- Ensure complete compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental protection procedures.
- Collaborate closely with the Production, Maintenance, and Quality Control teams to resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Report machine breakdowns, technical defects, and any other production issues promptly to the maintenance unit.
- Minimum of SSCE or OND qualification; relevant technical certifications will be a distinct advantage.
- Possess 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating machines within nylon, polythene, plastic, packaging, or related manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated technical expertise with specialized nylon and polythene processing machinery.
- Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and comprehensive machine safety protocols.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting demanding production targets.
