Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is seeking an experienced and technically competent Machine Operator to join our manufacturing sector client. In this role, you will play a critical part in the production line by operating and monitoring specialized machinery to deliver high-quality nylon products. Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor nylon and polythene processing and production machines continuously.
- Set up machinery and adjust operating parameters precisely according to production specifications.
- Maintain accurate daily production records, including output, downtime, and material usage.
- Minimize material wastage and proactively optimize machine efficiency.
- Follow established production schedules to consistently meet daily output targets.
- Ensure strict compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Collaborate closely with the Production, Maintenance, and Quality Control teams.
- Report machine breakdowns, defects, and other technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Minimum of SSCE or OND, with relevant technical certifications being an added advantage.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience operating machines in nylon, polythene, plastic, packaging, or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong hands-on technical experience with nylon and polythene processing machinery.
- Good understanding of industrial production processes and machine safety protocols.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
