About the Role
International Breweries Plc, a renowned manufacturing leader in Nigeria, is looking for a skilled Inspection and Coding Specialist to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring optimal plant availability, top-tier product quality, and the seamless execution of inspection and coding processes using advanced VPO principles.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret process descriptions and modify process control software according to established standards.
- Identify and resolve software and equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Maintain the integrity, security, and backup of all process control software.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, calibrate, and repair packaging inspection and coding systems.
- Support the installation, upgrades, and enhancement of new and existing electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Comply strictly with all company safety, health, and environmental legislation and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary engineering and production teams.
- Minimum of an HND or B.Sc. in Engineering Studies.
- Trade tested Millwright or Electrician certification.
- 3 to 6 months of relevant on-the-job training, including vendor maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated experience in routine electrical and instrumentation maintenance within a manufacturing or similar environment.
